What We Don't Like About The San Marino
It's a pity that most of the rooms face away from the ocean. If possible, avoid the rooms at the back which face onto the city and hills. The food is acceptable but certainly not fine cuisine. Most guests find that they eat breakfast and lunch at the hotel but go out for dinner. For security reasons the front desk staff are very vigilant and will often prevent hotel guests from bringing "visitors" up to their rooms, particularly if the visitor appears to be local. Therefore, if you want the ability to have a guest for night, you probably should consider one of the gay hotels or one of the higher-end resorts. (These resorts have less overt methods of keeping an eye out for your safety.)

What We Do Like About The San Marino
The hotel is the only all-inclusive hotel what is well located close to the gay beach and nightlife. The rooms are relatively large and spacious. While the tight security may prevent you from bringing back a trick, it's nice to know that the staff are looking our for you. The staff are very friendly. The pool is relatively large (although it is often used for snorkeling lessons). If it looks like the hotel isn't full, check ask the front desk about an oceanfront suites. If it is available you can often upgrade for a relatively small surcharge. However, if an ocean view is an absolute must for you, then you need to opt for a junior suite.
